We reserve the right to temporarily hold an amount prior to arrival.
A deposit equal to the first nights stay is required.
The deposit will be refunded according to the cancellation conditions.
Full booking balance must be paid 2 days before arrival.
If the booking is cancelled less than 2 days before arrival then a charge equal to the first night of the stay will be made. For group bookings larger than 10, cancellation refund policy does not apply.
In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.
You are responsible for the full amount due for your reservation even If a member of your group ‘drops out’ last minute. If you decide to check out earlier we cannot give a refund as you have reserved your room for the full duration. If you arrive the next day you will also need to pay for the whole of your original booking.
HOSTEL WORLD BOOKINGS
If you made your booking using hostel world, please remember that this is a separate company and they have their own cancellation policy of 14 days before arrival, so after 14 days we cannot alter any drop outs or reducing the number of nights. Please contact hostel world directly to alter anything.
Check in is 4pm – 10pm.
If you arrive early and your room is ready, you are more than welcome to check in early. If your room is not ready, you are more than welcome to use our facilities while you wait until the specified check in time.
Reception closes at 10pm so please do not book if you cannot arrive before 10pm. Please call in advance and see if a late check in can be arranged with staff working that shift. Only if it is possible to arrange a member of staff to wait for you. There will be an extra fee for late arrivals. If we do not have contact with you the reception will close as normal at 10pm.
Registration forms will be sent to you in advance or to be filled in on arrival. We reserve the right to charge for any damages.
Valid identification must be shown to staff and you must be over 18 years of age to stay. All people in your booking must be present at arrival and total stay paid for in full. Door access codes will not be given out until the whole group arrives.
Check out is 10:30am. All your belongings must be removed from your room and the key returned at this time. Any unwanted food can be donated to the free food box. Late checkouts will be charged extra. Within reason, you may briefly use the facilities before you leave, but please ask a member of staff first.
We cannot accept any stag or hen parties as guests, sorry.
If you are planning a sports club trip, for example, university surf clubs. We may be able to accommodate larger groups, but you must phone and make enquiries well in advance.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone. And we reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if you are seen to be breaking any house rules.
We reserve the right to change rooms to a similar or upgraded room if necessary.
We cannot accept any responsibility for any of your personal property while you stay here.
Please note – There are two dogs that live on site at this hostel, they are very friendly border collies and love being around our customers. They are not allowed upstairs or in guest rooms. Due to this, we cannot accept any pets to come and stay with customers.
